The NSCA contains the text of all laws, arranged both alphabetically and chronologically. Each Act contains a table of contents with links to every section of the Act, as well as a global annotation segment that provides general information about the Act. The information provided includes: the commencement date; the long title/explanatory note; source/adaptation; legislative history; historical note; amendments to the current legislation and legislation repealed or amended by the current legislation; references to other legislation in the current enactment; and subsidiary legislation made pursuant to or taking effect under the current legislation. Each section of the legislation is sub-divided into three: · The text of each section updated to incorporate all amendments and modifications to the section, including cross-references to other sections/Acts/words defined, all hyperlinked. · A general notes section containing information on: the origin of the section, that is, the source from which the section is derived or on which it is based; the commencement date of the section or parts thereof if different from the general commencement date; amendments/modifications to the provisions of the section; cross-reference, including a list of other sections or Acts that refer to the particular section and words or phrases defined elsewhere in the Act; and subordinate legislation, wherever applicable. · Notes of judicial decisions which provide a list of all judicial decisions that interpret, construe or apply each section. Each case on the list that has been reported in the NELR is hyperlinked to the text of the case in the NELR.
